We had another
great weekend for the fourth annual Stuart Sailfish Regatta on the Indian
River. My daughter and son-in-law were here for viewing their first experience of
the exciting racing from the Stuart Causeway Bridge. The race sanctioned by the
American Power Boat Association, is open to ten classes of inboards, four
classes of outboards and the Powerboat P1 SuperStock Series. Some of the
nation's top tier racers plus a power team of 12 or more Canadian Grand Prix
race boats brought exciting action to the 1.1 mile race course. SSR is increasing
their support to the designated charities, the Children’s Museum of the
Treasure Coast and the US Sailing Center of Martin County.
